Wiper Bargain Of The Week

I normally use Bosch flat aeroblade wipers an my Aygo and I have changed my rear wiper to a 16" blade for better coverage.

I normally spend around £ 25.00 for the pair.

This week I bought these which are just as good but come in at less than a third of the price....

Can I spot a bargain or what

Well they arrived twenty minutes ago and it took ten minutes to fit them.

They look the same as my old Bosch flat aeroblades only they cost £ 6.95 inc postage...

When you do the rear wiper you have to pull out all the clips as they are not required.

Can't fathom how halford's can charge nearly £20 for a single Bosch front wiper blade, ended up getting the same Bosch blade from carparts4less for under £7 including free delivery.

The Bosch blade Halfords sell is the Aerotwin (a flat blade), whereas the £7 Bosch blade Carparts4less sell is the Superplus (metal framed blade)

Carparts4less still sell the Aerotwin cheaper than Halfords - at around £11.

we also have a lexus ct and to buy the rubber refills for the front cost me £25

i tried using a motorfactor refill set but lexus have changed the design of the blade

so the metal clips wont secure the wiper rubber and your forced to used oem parts.

so £25 for a pair of blades isn't too bad
