Hi, I have a corolla verso and was wondering how to use the bluetooth since manual doesn't go into much detail. When i have the car on ignition on the bluetooth does not show but when the engine is started on my phone it shows handsfree is detected, when connecting it says hands-free did not respond back, however it is showing up. Its not anyone elses because there was no cars in the area. I have a 54 plate with the normal old stereo. Also I was once pressing buttons and on the screen it came up with ''downloading app....'' and i pressed another button :L. I dont know what I pressed or what the function was and I forgot how I did this. If someone can guide me to what the function and how the bluetooth operates it would be helpful. Also its the T3 model.

Haven't used your particular stereo but I reckon you need to pair your phone to the car somehow. If it's like the other Toyota ones I've done, the stereo will have some sort of menu with "bluetooth", or "BTA", or "setup" etc. Go into this menu and find how to delete the previous settings/pairings (this is called "initialise" IIRC). Then put your phone in "discovery mode" or similar, and use the stereo to pair to your phone. You might need to enter a code, which will probably show on the stereo screen.
