Avensis T25 '06 - How Do I Pickup Call On Paired Phone?

Hi,

I've had the car a few weeks now and have worked out how to pair it successfully. Today someone rang me (at last..) and then I realized that I don't know what to press to pickup the incoming call... despite it ringing through the car speaker.

So the question is "which button allows you to pickup an incoming call to a paired phone?"

I have the 6stack CD changer ICE with built in satnav and the Toyota handsfree kit so it should all be standardized functions.

Thnx.

If you have the buttons on the steering wheel, you'll have the two 'handset on and off' buttons to make/answer a call and to hang up. If you don't have those buttons, you're on your own! You didn't say what sort of phone it is, some people have had lots of problems with iphones in cars.

It's worth mentioning that the sound systems volume is stored independently of the phone's volume. A problem I had on mine was that someone had turned the phone volume to 0, took me a while to discover that!

Hi Barry.

Phil is correct about what type of phone you are using. I always have 2 mobiles connected, but my latest Nokia 625 does not have auto answer. You have to press the answer button on my hands free system. My previous Nokia 5800, my current Samsung Galaxy S3, and earlier Sony phones all had auto answer. I think it depends on what phone you have and setup.

I assume you have set auto answer on the phone you have.

Once you give more info, an answer may become available.

I have a THB hands free kit in mine and I just need to say "Hello" etc to receive the call ...... simples :-) the incoming call also mutes the radio.

Found it guys. The up channel button answers the call. Down channel terminates it.

Now playing with the voice control help menus to learn voice dial commands. If only mr t had a roadmap of the system i could read at the same time.

I checked on YouTube and found this little guide for your phone. There may be more tricks and tips.

There are apps on the market, but I don't think you need any.
