I have just purchased a W reg Yaris SR 1.3 16v, I would like to find out how much the sports tyres on this model will cost me. Does anybody know where I can find this out?

are you talking about just changing the tyres and keeping existing alloys for your SR?? or a whole new set??

cheapest you can find is £50 each (set of four of course) up to £300 which include makes such as goodyear or Bridgestone etc, the big names!!

if its just the tyres you're after then £70 odd quid would do the job nicely unless u in for crusing or race every night or something!!

if your anywhere near Oxford, Charlett Tyres are v cheap and you get good service....

I just had :

2x 225/50/16 Bridgestone P6000

4x Wheel Balancing

Total Cost : £203

There'sa good number of cheap tyre places around it just takes some searching, Kwik Fit, Euromaster and the like are soo expensive, found that even with owners club discount the couldn't come anywhere near that price....

sorry emm

i didnt get your msg until late!!! i do apologise!!!

honestly, if you don't need special griping tyres, a set of £50 each would do the job nicely. it will definitely be better than your standard set thats for sure! remember, try nothing thats MADE IN CHINA!! hahaha

£70 to £100 each get you the some really decent tyres, but honestly you dont need them. the cost of replacing them after every 2-3 years time do your head in!!!

Oh I wish 2-3 years lol....

Having reports of Goodyear F1's only lasting 6k on the rear of an MR2 (1 track day as well)...

Am hoping for 13-15k from mine :( :(

Front's last forever but rear's fade very quickly...

I would disagree with getting cheap tyres on any car, what's the point in seeing how well the car handles if you got crap rubber on your car, it's the only thing keeping you on the road !!!
