Satnav Sound

Hello all

I'm starting to think there may we a wiring issue for the sound but wanted an opinion first.

I've noticed 2 sound issues since my last full service in mAy.

1) - already discussed in previous topic the bluetooth issues from my phone. I can make calls fine and hear the conversation great. No problems. But when I get a call coming in, it registers a call says there's a caller but can't hear anything. Have tried everything but nothing works.

And 2) I noticed last night that although my Satnav works normally the speed camera warnings and going too fast alerts have disappeared. I've gone into the settings and they are checked to be in. In fact I re chose the tone for alerts and normally you can hear them as you choose but you can't now.

Do you think it might be a wire / speaker problem. It's odd that half functions work on the sound system and half don't.

If some sounds/warnings are coming through the cars audio system then its is not at fault, the issue will be within the TomTom itself, have you tried a factory reset of the unit ( pin in the reset hole on the tomtom ) then do an update from TomTom home software.

No I've not tried that. As my tom tom is the audio system too does it have leads to connect to a computer. I'm pretty sure I have never been given any as it was already installed in the car. Is this the only way to do a software update

I have a 2015 Yaris Sport but cannot figure out how to make the volume on the Sat Nav louder. Can anyone help with advice?

Hi Brian, welcome to TOC.

Haven't had a Yaris myself but on your head unit try going  Settings —> General —> Volume —> navigation volume whilst you wait for somebody with a Yaris to  chip in.
