What do you think? Is this universal airfilter on eBay,

for £14.99 as good as the ones from other manufactures at £80-120?

Maybe if you only need it for sound, hell it would do the job!

Anyone have a universal one on their intake?

I can virtually guarantee you it will not be as good as the more expensive filters.

2 reasons;

it won't filtrate as well (you'll get lots of damaging dust in your engine)

it won't perform as well (you won't go anywhere fast - not that an induction kit will make that happen anyway)

I agree, personally i think induction kits are a pain in the ubik.

For a start it makes your insurance go up, and also lets hot air into the engine which you will need to make a heat guard to prevent.

Next car i get is going to use an uprated panel filter for the air box. Sorted B)

I am getting rid of the blitz and moving back to a panel filter dude

panel filter is the way forward as far as I'm concerned!

Just get a very good panel filter, and you're already sheilded from the engine heat thanks to the air box... and if you need it you can route some more air into it :)

if you're driving a subaru Sti or evo fq300 etc, then fair enough...

otherwise.... you're just posing! :P
