Another Yaris Accident

Hi everyone,

On saturday early evening, my sisters were coming home from shopping. They were at a traffic light, stopped there, and all of a sudden, a guy comes hitting into the back of them, and my sisters yaris then hit the VW Bora in front. My sisters are alright from the accident, no injuries from it.

Here are some pics of the damage :(

And this was the guy's Nissan Sunny that hit into the back of my sisters:

Now we're just sorting insurance stuff and gonna claim from the guy :cacker:

bit like me when i had my first car. Tis was an AX Gti, okay not the greatest of cars, but i spent ages saving for it and modding it

Then some ****** ****** come along and lobbed a brick at the car whilst i was looking out of my living room window.

Buckled the roof, and becuase on the AX the back window is basically the structure of the rear, the whole back kinda fell off.

Similar thing happened to the bloke when i ran after him

Not another one !

it seems everyday someone on TOC has a prang. It's getting a bit depressing :(

Glad everyone's OK though.

Hope you get everything sorted with the car OK. It looks (looked) like a real good one.

and best to have handbrakes up so you dont hit into the car in front with much force

u getting a courtsy car and do u know how long it will take to fix?

they are offering a courtesy car but we not sure if we should take it at the moment. As for how long it will take to fix, we not sure about that, someone from the insurance company will take a look and have to sort out the claim first

You all have my sympathies. Went through it all myself last year. As long as everyone's OK. That's the main thing. Cars can be fixed. It's a pain in the *** having to deal with the insurance, bodyshop and everything but it'll get sorted.

Hard to believe mine was in a crash when I look at it now.

I had neck, back, leg, and shoulder ache for about a week after my car got done in m8 - the yaris scores well on the ncap tests - at least you can be thankful for that, as said above - at least they're ok!

my yaris must have got crunched at some speed after seeing a couple of these knocks... let me find a photo of the damage, how fast was the driver of the sunny going on impact?

Sorry to hear about the accident :(

Last year someone ran into me as I was doing 30mph & then the car behind that one hit it (and I got hit a 2nd time!) Nasty business.

Luckily I didn't have my T Sport then!
