How Do I Get Rid Of Stale Milk Smell?

58 Avensis T180

My car developed a nasty smell which I eventually traced back to one of my 2 year olds milk bottles which had rolled under the passenger seat. It must have been there a few days as the milk was stale. Unfortunately for me the cap wasnt on the bottle and some of the milk leaked out. Despite washing the carpet on a few occasions with various cleaning product the smell remains. Does anyone have any suggestions for me?

Liberal sprinkling of bicarb or baking soda on the area, leave for a couple of days and vacuum off.

If we are in to kitchen remedies you can sprinkle the area with white vinegar .

You can use the rest to clean the windows with kitchen roll.
