Looking at buying a Corolla T-Sport as a little bit of a project car over the next few months. The plan is to stick some yamaha bike bodies on it, cams and coilovers as well as as new exhaust system + standalone ECU.

I've always liked these cars, and noticed there aren't very many about and I've always had a thing for 'underdog' cars, for example I own a Renault Twingo GT Turbo, currently sitting at 136 BHP. 1.2 Liter engine and it has a little bit of a skitzophrenic personality going on with lots of japanese parts, subaru seats, hks goodies as well as a fujitsubo exhaust (backbox) the rest of the system was fabricated by myself.

Are there any common faults i should be made aware of? Obviously i'm not going with Auto-Data's fault list as it's generally useless :)

NOTICE TO ADMINS - please can you change my username to 'Oscar' or 'Oscar88'' if 'Oscar' is not available??? It would appear my keyboard is useless and decided it didn't want to acknowledge the 'R' key when signing up!
