Evening ladies and gents, long time no see!! :-)

Car seems to have developed a flat spot below 2000 rpm, once it hits 2200 - 2500 rpm it pulls strongly as it should. There are no fault codes stored, no noises or smoke to notice, it doesn't appear to be using anymore fuel.

The car has been driven with scanner plugged in, the map sensor seems to be reading correct, turbo actuator seems to be moving and free, EGR valve is shutting under load, fuel pressure looks correct.

The command and actual throttle valve readings don't seem to match??

Has anyone had any similar issues / experiences of this??

Many thanks in advance

A partially blocked EGR and Intake manifold underneath are usually the culprits for this, there is a pinned guide at the top of the Rav4 forum detailing how to remove and clean the EGR, whilst this is off take a look into the intake manifold if it is dirty / blocked removing and cleaning will be needed.

Yep!... gonna say clean the EGR valve and use some BG244 in with a fuel tank of V-Power derv. I would also consider cleaning the MAFand change fuel filter as a just in case...
