Good Morning Everyone!

I am currently having a crisis! My beloved Aygo is throwing a fit and after replacing the exhaust, it seems like it might need an air flow meter/air flow mass meter (same thing? I am not sure?!), but I can't seem to find a part number anywhere! I even rung my local Toyota parts department and they can't even find one, let alone give me the part number for it! So please help guys, anybody know the parts number for a 2007 Toyota Aygo 1.0 VVTi?!

I'd be more suspicious of a sensor on the exhaust, since it's been messed about with.

Might be a ignition coil which needs changing

The reason an air flow/ air mass meter can't be found is because there isn't one on the petrol Aygo , the Aygo uses the principle of Manifold absolute Pressure ( MAP ) the determine air mass/flow into the engine.

What is wrong with the car?

Well, replaced the MAF and that hasn't worked, it's going up for sale now.

As far as I can seem the early Aygo has the lambda sensor in the exhaust downpipe, as that's the only thing you would have touched, it's seem logical to look at that first.

Bad connection on the connector plug, or the wires have been twisted/heated on the back of the lambda sensor , so replace that, seem OTT to sell, as the amount you will loose on a car running badly, over the cost of a £80 odd sensor ?

I agree, I would get a dealer to look at it as better the devil you know.

I'd happily try replacing that, but grumpy husband has vowed not to throw any more money at it (66+37.50 exhaust) (20+34.50 MAF)
