Have You Named Your Car?

My old Nissan Almera was named Goldie - on account of it's metallic gold paint. Strangely enough I haven't named the Auris, but I have enjoyed owning it thus far.

The Auris or The Jag :D we used to call our cars by there registration VVA - WNR- ECL -LYL etc my sister in law calls her Mini RUBY its Red

Always named my cars and given them boys names. Women give me too much trouble!

In order of my first to current:

Peugeot 306 - Dave
Honda Civic - Brian
Peugeot 107 - Rocky (after taking me and 3 heavy weight mates up north for a camping weekend)
Honda CR-V - Finbar
Peugeot 3008 - Apollo (worst, car, ever)
Toyota Corolla - Randy (because, why not?)

I get mine tomorrow and have already named it Sammy, after the footballer Sammy Igoe (although I maintain Sammy is short for Samantha in the case of my car).

My previous cars have been:

Clio - Merph (from Wayne's World)

Alfa 156 - Hanz (on account of the front grille making it look like Hannibal Lectur; although I do miss Hanz massively)

Named ours Pavel as the number plate is PVL, coincidentally a Czech name which made sense with the car being produced in Kolin. Managed to get a little something for the garage when passing through the Czech Republic on a recent road trip too!

My Aygo is called Robbie
