T180 Battery Change

Hi All, Just wondering if there is any special instructions for changing a Battery without causing possible problems with ECU's, Radio or codes etc. Or is it a straight forward case of disconnecting - and + then reconnecting? Or would it be wiser to visit the dealer?

It's straightforward - disconnect the -ve terminal first and refit last. Ensure that the terminals are clean and tight and holding down clamp secure. The radio presets will need to be retuned once the new Battery is in place.

Thanks for your reply but decided to go to dealers and get it changed as needed it doing ASAP and for what I was going to save after buying a decent Battery it

didn't seem worth taking any chances and it also keeps things simple with my warranty if I have any further problems.
