Avensis Air Con Issue

I have a 2004 d4d with non working air con. I have had the compressor replaced for a new unit which worked for a few months but it has stopped again. Does anyone know what else it could be please?

If its not used weekly then the seals begin to weep the refrigerant, as long as it is not completely empty than you can have it recharged for around £30.00 at Halfords

When the air-con was first repaired, I thought the system was checked for leaks and that the pressure held.

I would go with Alan and Raistlin's suggestion that the system is either leaking or the seals are no longer effective. The original motor may not have been the fault.

The engineer will have to use a dye to find the leak.
