Old Style Aygo 2014 Extra Feature

Hello, I am looking to purchase the old style Aygo 2014 as i am not a fan of the new shape, I was wondering if anyone can tell me what ALL extra changes/features they added before it was taken off production. like DRL etc and is there any differences between the 2013-63 model, thanks

Doubt whether there will be any changes to the spec in the last six months of production. Some of the London dealers have Aygos with less than a 1000 miles on the clock, 63 and 14 registrations. Do a used car search on the Toyota website.

I spotted a pale blue 14 reg old shape the other day, and it didn't have daytime running lights, I just presumed a car that late would of had them ?

Yeh ive also notice this aswell, also some 14 plate also have black top or full body colour, but i think this only applies on the white one...Im still looking around to see what improvement toyota made between 2013-63-14 but i cant find nothing at the moment...if anyone has any info please let me know, thanks

I wouldn't be getting the old shape as the new one looks car superior and also you will lose a lot of money in depreciation as everyone will want the new shape.

Yeah im aware, but i really dont like new facelift, its too bold, thats why i want to stick with the old version, but just seeing if there was any improvement on the 14 plate before they took it off production, for example, i know they made its more quite on the 09 plates onwards on the A pillar, around the wheel arch...there was also a water pump improvement because the old one would leak, from 2012 they change the front bumper, DRL was first introduce on the 62 plates onwards....i know im being annoying, but i actually cant find anything else atm, if anyone got more info, please post them here for me.

it doesn't mean that a newly registered car has to have the drl's fitted but what it does mean is extract from the AA

That is effectively what I said.

Be interesting to see whether the new Aygo retains the Type Approval from the first generation - as it uses the original car's structure, albeit strengthened. For example the current Auris retained the Type Approval from the 2007 Auris - and thus didn't have to have TMPS fitted from launch.

I have got one this year. Couldn't wait six months for the new one as my yaris MOT was due in April and I couldn't be bothered putting it through a service, MOT and two new summer tyres for the sake of six months. My 2014 mk1 Aygo is on a finance three year thing so I'll just be selling it back to a dealer anyway. The fact that the new model is out won't affect its resale value in that way.

The later versions of the old shaped Aygo had chrome rings around the rear light clusters
