My Beauty Is Dead

Finally, aged 20, time to die. Been great for me for 9 years but this year's Government excuse to kill old cars and raise taxes via new ones (aka MOT) has done it. Allegedly "needs" new catalytic converter, lambda sensor and rear shock. I have no place nor time nor experience to do it and the garage wants me to remortgage to let them have a go.

Having said all that I'm kind of excited to look for a new car, hope the next one is as good as Beauty. I still refuse to accept that all the pollution caused in making and shipping a new car is less than a little gaseous emission from Beauty, but what can you do?

I never managed too many contributions on here, but always came here in time of problems to seek wisdom!
