Rusty Hubs

Just wondering if this is a common fault or problem with the Auris? My 2007 model fitted with the standard Toyoya alloy wheels which seems to gather a lot of moisture and water on the wheel hubs. The hub nuts are very rusty and when you remove any of the wheels the hubs are usually soaking i.e retaining the water. This is the first car that I have owned that does this. Anyone else noticed this problem? or perhaps there is a cure?

Some members have had issues with rusty wheel nuts/hubs. As regards the wheel nuts, some have got new nuts, and others have used covers.

It's the actual hub drive shaft nut that are very rusty, all hubs front and rear are in the same state.
