yeah, thats what i was thinking, but then there are never any meets near me, theyre all too far north or south, so i need a way of socialising with other 'car enthusiasts'

but on saying that i have been on the cruise-south site and most of them despise max power. most people have become redline fans are a lot more sensible than they used to be. think its all legal aswell

The North/South thing has been going on for ages. Many clubs have been trying to bridge this gap for just as long. MR2OC has a monthly MR2 only meet in Warwick to try do this but their numbers vary from 5 - 10 car up to 30+ depending on who's done what to their car and showing it off...

There is a new (now not so new but still building member base) Northants Jap Club for all Jap car enthusiasts. This is meant mainly for people based around Northans and the surroundings (Inlcuding MK) and they are wanting members to organise regular meets in the area. However, they welcome people from all over the UK who want to bridge the North/South divide. There is a link in one of my other posts titled "Northants?" or something like that - do a search...

Personally I will avoid ANYTHING that has the word "cruise" attached to it - I instantly get the idea it's Max Poo influenced!

yeah, i agree. but i yhink that even if it was only twice a year, something in the midlands area would be good for the north and south to meet. i would think it would be quite big aswell. just need someone in the area to have a look around for suitable sites. for me its about an hour and a half so i can't just go up there and have a look around, but someone like Nizan or anyone else in the midlands (knightrider etc) could look into it further

The so called "cruise" in MK is huge now so we would need to avoid that and they tend to be out all week end, attracting the plod who start harrasing good honest citizens like ourselfs :D .

So the Center of MK is no go, but there are plenty of good places on the outskirts, just gotta gat my mates onto Jap cars then I might be-able to get somthing good going.

Niz

Mate you really ought to be looking at Jap UK Meets (a site for jap enthusiasts based in the south). They have loads happening or originating from from South Mimms  A lot of night stuff...

Good luck searching for them tho... their web address is odd and they don't like to get known by certain organisations ;) If you know what I mean? :P
