Simple Mod To Improve Sound In Your Yaris Mk2

Recently, I have bought a yaris for work.

Its such a great car and giving me 51-55mpg. Best has been 59mpg (doing 60mph on long journeys). These mpg figures are according to OBC. Its only 1000cc petrol so nothing biggie.

Cabin is very noisy when you drive above 60mph so in order to combat that I usually increase the volume of radio. Stereo sound is okish but bass is poor.

So I read few thread and decided to dynamat the doors.

And 30 minutes later....

It is costly mod but better than changing the speaker as OEM Speakers are not bad once you apply dynamat. I have driven the car after doing these and sound has improved drastically. It is massive difference so I may do the same on rear doors as well.

PS: Has anybody changed Speakers on MK2 yaris. Toyota has uses permanent fixtures on three corners. What have you used to fit the Speakers?
