Reservoir is high up top left of the engine as you look into the engine bay, metal can with black lid pump is the rear most pulley at he back left of the engine. As for warranty as a trader selling to a retail customer he cannot sell a car without offering warranty also sales of goods act applies.

Nothing can be sold from a dealer without a warranty, in fact nothing purchased from any retailer no matter what it is can be without warranty. Ask the seller if he thinks the Sale Of Goods Act does not apply to him?

I think you need to be speaking with him again and if he still does not comply, put it in writing giving him a timeline (say 14 days) where you expect him to comply, otherwise you will take further action. Be polite and firm

If he just laughed at you then it is obviously a cowboy outfit. Sadly dealing with these idiots can be hard work. You do have the law on your side but getting anything done can be time consuming and not without it's stress. You have to stick with it, be firm and polite. He who shouts loudest does not always get what he wants (an old motor trade proverb) don't threaten, but do tell him your intentions
