hi everyone i am a proud owner of a new auris 1.4d sport tourer icon spec delivered last week

i have a few questions i hope you can advise on.

1- the rear reg plate lights seem a little tricky to remove? anyone know how to do so without snapping/breaking the fitment!

also i have noticed oil level just above minimum after a few hundred miles [ordered acea c2 0w30]

so can top up as this is the grade put in for the manufacture process[akward to find locally so ordered

guess this is normal??

many thanks for your time/input

also as a sidenote once i have completed 5000 miles was considering a remap anyone think its worthwhile on the 1.4 and if so tuning box or remap?

cheers in advance mitchell

How many miles have you done in a week ?

If it's only a few then personally I'd be going straight back to the dealer to get the oil topped up, as it shouldn't be using oil that quickly.

thanks have done 400 miles under 3000rpm as per guidlines as my car was delivered from manchester cant really run it up to dealer as easier to spend £15 delivered on correct oil and top up myself!

appreciate your inputs mike and ken ;-]

i ran a 1.4 Auris Tourer for a while, I loved it!

I put one of our tuning kits on it, went from 54 MPG to 58 MPG with superb smoothness

Tuning box is the way to go

PM me if you need more information

Kingo

That makes sense, I hadn't considered distance from dealership.
