I used to own a Mk1 Gti great car but got made a offer i couldnt refuse, only like the old VW's.

Had some idiot in a golf R32 tried racing me on my bike

after i finished humilating him he tried taking me out at a roundabout

couldnt f'king believe it, scared the **** out of me.

Good timing of this post.

I had to deal with an idiot in a vw yesterday.

Just driving home from work (took a diferent route to normal).

Noticed a guy in an old golf waiting to pull out of a side turning, as I got closer, he pulled out on me.

I was very good, no swearing or rude hand signals, I just slammed on the brakes and made good use of the horn.

He then decided to drive at about 5mph (what is the point in annoying me by trying to cause an accident, then wind me up further by going so slow). Then suddenly he put his foot down, I drove right behind him up to 30mph (as the area was quite busy), he then continued to accelerate (I guess up to about 50mph), when he then caught up to the traffic in front.

What was the point of that? complete idiot.

you know, not all vw/german drivers are fools.

In a similar fashion, not all jap drivers are up themselves.

Of course not - I used to have a Golf.

It's just these GTi ****holes.

I was a member of a VW club for a while and the snooty attitude they have towards all other marques (bar Audi, Porsche and Seat), especially Japenese marques, is really quite snooty and arrogant.

By the way - I'm not a member of the anti-German brigade. I'm considering a Porsche (no, not a Boxster or a 911!) as my next car.

He just showed me that he has no driving skills. Or maybe he just stole the car.

Nobody can show me that they are the boss. I am the boss :P (especially when they are in an inferior car....that sounds snobbish).

I don't have a problem with vw drivers, just that guy.
