Naval Jelly

Used to see Naval Jelly all over the place. Haven't seen it anywhere for ages.

In my opinion it worked a treat on Rust. Changed it chemically or something.

Need it badly. Does anyone know where Ican get it.? On line would be best ,as I am in Ireland.

Tis because it was banned along with the red lead and other such good old nautical products :(

You can still get rust remover that come's in a 5 gallon drum and is available from your local chandler's, does the job but you need to do it twice as the first coat run's off unlike the jelly that stayed on until it did the job

Iwas afraid that that would be the result- Banned along with other good stuff. Why? What harm did it do? Show us the bodies! <_<

Reckon that I'll have to try one of your suggestions. Have tried Hammerite (now Triple Flow?) Wasn't Impressed. Probably the others are much the same.

Can you remember the name of the 5gall One?
