Hi has anyone any ideas why the horn has stopped working I've checked fuse and connection to horn?

Thanks. In advance for any help

Could be any of a number of things.

Is power getting to the horn when you activate it? You'll need a multimeter or a test lamp to check that. If not, is the switch working? Is there an associated relay? If so, is that working?

Is there a good earth on the other side of the horn?

If all those are ok then you'll need to replace the horn.

Horns have been known to simply seize up, try getting someone else to press the horn button whilst you literally hit the horn with something a bit solid, even a small hammer, and this sometimes gets them going again.

Okay, had same problem with VW... (I know ive had so many problems with VW). If you press the horn and hear a slight 'tick' sound when you press it, it means that all the wiring is good. If it doesent then its something to do with the relay. But if you hear the sound then all is good, you just need a new horn, maybe £10 used and £30 new :)
