2008 Water Pump Starting To Leak

My 2009 rav 2.2 d4d is starting to leak coolant. A little pool is lying I find every time I park up. Should I fix Asap and will it be a big job? When I start it from cold I can hear a not so loud squeal noise until it warms up is this all part of the problem?

Changing the coolant pump involves removing the timing belt - so not a simple job. Check that the puddle isn't just condensate draining from the aircon system - this often causes unnecessary concern. If it's a coolant leak - you should see a drop in the coolant reservoir level. Put newspaper under the car when parking up - a coolant leak should show up pink.
