Hid

Hello everyone, really hope someone can help me with this. I have recently bought an HID conversion with 55w ballasts and 8000k bulbs. The problem I have is that the left headlight is flickering quite a lot. It flickers between a warm halogen colour and ice blue which it should be like. The flickering gets worse as I am driving.

Any ideas?

Not enough power going to the ballast and the flickering gets worse when driving kinda points that out.

Changing the Battery may help or changing the headlight fuse to a 20 instead of 10-15 amp fuse which I've been told helps with the current draw to the ballast or set up a relay for direct current from the Battery to the ballast.

Thanks man! I'm probably being a bit stupid but which fuses are the headlight ones? I tried going by the map but a little difficult to understand lol

Try changing ballasts from one side to another. Then do the same with the bulb. You may notice that the problem is not caused by your car. Actually I suspect it is caused by ballast. If it would be fuse it would just blow and your headlight would not work. This happened to me couple of times until I figured out what was happening. After that I replaced my headlight fuses with 5 amp bigger ones.
