Spider

Ok, probably the most laughable question ever on here! I have a spider living in my wing mirror and I can't get him out!

I've used a spray gun on a hose pipe and sprayed water behind the glass but he's still there! Any ideas?

I hate spiders and had a tiny one, just like you in my wing mirror I had to stand about a 20 miles  away while my Dad got rid of it for me.

They completely freak me out. :help:

Can you grab it by its leg.

I think most of you will agree that a spider is an animal, so how come if i kick a dog to death i risk prison, yet if i kill a spider it's 'well done chap' :D Spiders are less odious and less odourous :)

smoke it out, is good for them because they run away or stay and get high :D

it's a win win situation

because spiders are dumber than dogs, some dogs would risk their life for their owners where as spiders wont  . Thats y dogs have more respect...

i had 2 in my mr2, one came out at 70mph, i was watching him hang on for dear life for around 2 miles by which point the web was just behind my head and the second one went with a jet wash :)

I couldn't get the taxi fare of either of them before they left, free-riding scum !

I would question whether or not dogs are as clever as spiders, my dog isn't.

Leave the poor bugger in there, it's his home - the longer he stays there the more his house price will rise - so when you come to sell it on it'll be good for both of you!

Have you got no business sense? :D

Hmmmm . . . . interesting this - when my car was last serviced the mechanic told me I had a cat in my exhaust.

Back to the Spider though......can't you lure it out with a big juicy fly? :P

Easy one this. The same thing happened to me.

Park up for a day or two and wait for the cobweb to appear.

Tap it very gently with a leaf or something, making the dumb spider think it's finally trapped some food. It'll come out from it's hole.

When it does, scoop it onto the leaf and transplant it into a garden or neighbours car mirror.

Try a Vacuum Cleaner!!!

My Mum swears by this method!!!

If you can get hold of a Dyson they have a relly long reach so you won't even have to go anywhere near the offending Arachnid

I saw him today! (I'll presume it's a he for the basis of this post!) He's a big bugger! He popped out at the traffic lights but before I could wind the window down and flick him off he went back in! He probably came out to see who was destroying his web every morning! I don't want to kill him though. I think the leaf tapping method will be the best option.

The problem with the IS is you have 3 cats in your exhaust...

The leaf tapping didn't work! Saw him again in as I was driving. I'm doing 150 miles on sunday, hopefully I'll have him then!
