Newbie With A Problem

hi everybody hope some one can help here goes bought a my first rav 4 1996 121k 2ltr petrol starts brill from cold then as it warms up and the revs want to drop it starts to miss lack of power misfires but then it settles at about 800/900 revs and runs great all day till left to go cold again then the circle starts again hope some one can help and a big thank you in advance

Welcome aboard Stuart, you should have a reliable motor there if this hiccup is sorted

Has your Rav been serviced lately,do you know ? Any history etc will help those that can help to do so.

Hi and thanks for the welcome it came the old service history nothing new it has recently had a complete new exhaust and 5 tyres that's all I know been told it could be a air leak some where on a breather but there's so many pipes lol

cheers for that well removed air filter sprayed carb cleaner into the intake refitted good and tight still the same sprayed wd40 all over the little breather pipes but nothing changed could live with the problem but for the embarrrassment of the misfires and the looks I get lol not good for the ravs street cred
