I want a diagnostic software for avensis's.

can anyone recommend a place to buy it from? or is there any alternatives.

I have a generic OBD2 scanner but I want/need one to do more.

Hi frank, read various lights (airbag) I have quite a few Toyotas that I look after.

one maybe has a injector fault.

where did you get yours?

Yeah good bit of kit...I got mine on eBay..also bought a new mongoose cable for it.

Hi. Can someone tell me what I need to read the DTC codes and live data for my 2006 RAV4 2.2D-4D? Poor starting in cold weather and slight loss of power at high revs. Checked and renewed glowplugs but no improvement. (three of them were blown). Would like to plug in to see if the injection cycle is OK etc.

Any links to what I should buy would be greatly appreciated.

I use Techstream 9.00.025. It came with the OBDII cable i bought on eBay. The only problem is that the Avensis does not show up as an option when trying to use the "Connect to vehicle". There is another button in the program called Generic OBDII wich allowed me to check the fault codes atleast.

Can you read the injector info with it? Trying to find out if I have a faulty injector but don't want to go to Toyota dealer until I almost already know the fault. . . Been bitten before!
