hi there and welcome to the club

try and get an early 1.0gls whic i expect to be around £4.5-5k

this way it will come with plenty of toys and not be the base model

if you can stretch another 1.5k you could be lookin at the 1.3sr

never really any weak points with the yaris

so good luck!

I say look at both and get a general idea of prices and what you can afford right now. Perhaps do some research online as toi what model you would like etc - this place is great for model advice!

I havent looked back after buying my baby Karis (see below!) brand new back in Feb. Shes a great little car, all mod cons too! :D Shes a T-Spirit, the 3rd model up.

Plus nice to see another angelic being on the boards! :D

All the best with your Yaris buying!

Angel

garages will b slightly more expensive but you get the bonus of short warranties and the ability to bargain for extras.... i know its a first car but if poss try to get more than a 1.0 - i regret not gettin the tsport (£150 difference on insurance wen i looked) hope u find wot ur lookin 4 :bye:

i've changed from an mr2 to a 200sx for monetary reasons, not a patch on toyota quality and defo not a flash car, i would class it more as a shed....

Depends on cash. The T-Sport is nippy (a warm hatch). The turbo is insanely fast - but expensive and you'll have to import it :P For a first car I can't see you going wrong with a 1.3SR.

Its nippy (0-60 in under 12secs - prolly do it in 11secs realistically) and the SR has a nice exhaust and sometimes a cool spoiler! Seriously, if it was my first car I'd be well happy.

Hi there!

I work at a Toyota dealer and couldn't get hold of a T Sport for love nor money!

They sell as soon as any come in, for mega-bucks.

Bought my 2001 T Sport privately (it had only done 7000 miles) and saved myself £1700 on dealer retail prices.

Good luck with the hunt for the best little cars around!!

:group-cuddles:
