Sr180 Problems?

Hi guys,

I've recently bought the SR180 and was just wondering if anyone can give me any advice about common problems with this engine and what to look out for and how to prevent anything happening?

HG failure/ oil usage due to carbon build up causing carbon stamping ending up in gasket suffle and a dead engine. Toyota goodwill extended warranty is 112k or 7 years. Someone will post a link to the thread I'm sure.

You'll probably be worried sick when you read the problems, but your car may already have had a replacement engine or even had no problems at all ....... It shouldn't be too difficult to find out :)
