Ct26 On 3sfe

OK guys,

I have an ST162... celica gt lifback... 3SFE engine... i am looking at CT26 turbochargers and I am wondering if this can be installed on my engine, and can it be done with a fair amount of ease?

possible but a complete conversion to a 3S-GTE would be a lot easier and more reliable. engine should be a bolt in swap with a small amount of wiring changes and an mr2 turbo box and drive shafts.

the trouble with turboing a 3s-fe is that it was designed as an economy engine and as such will run higher compression and the internals wont be strong enough to cope with much boost. at least with the -GTE you can run a reliable 300bhp
