4.3 Voice Activation/recognition

It's been a while since I last posted but here goes

I have a 2012 4.3 RAV with Tough and Go (Nav). On my steering wheel is a voice activation/recognition button.

When I press it, it says that it is not active.

Whats it for?

How can I use it?

What's it for - just to annoy you

How can you use it - you can't

The earlier Rav prior to T & G it worked, I believe it works on the current Rav 4.4 T & G ver2, but it sits there just to antagonise you :) oh and me.
