Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November
£90 - £120 cash paid on the day

*We ask for you to be available for an extra hour but we will compensate you with an extra £30 if selected.

Further to the above topic, I contacted the company and obtained the following information:

We are inviting people to view a new SUV car and give their opinion. The car is not yet on the market, so it`s a chance for people to see it, sit in it and tell the manufacturer what they think. We will adhere to the Market Research Code Of Conduit throughout the whole process (http://www.mrs.org.u..._of_conduct.pdf).

Attendees will be paid cash on the day

For information only - as far as I'm aware the following SUV's are due to be launched in the first half of 2015:

Honda HRV, Fiat 500X, Jeep Renegade, new Hyundai ix35, Hyundai Santa Fe facelift, Mazda CX-3, Mercedes MLC, Suzuki Vitara and Volvo XC90.

Do people really throw their money about like this for what looks like something so easy ??

Yes - not just car manufacturers, but car magazines have similar events.

What Car did something similar recently, but on a more limited scale, for the new Hyundai i20.

I've attended customer focus groups in the past for people like Tesco and Dolland & Aitchison (Opticians), etc - where lunch and a fee were provided (£50 to £100 per event).
