Has anybody experienced problems with a new "smart" phone using bluetooth? My phones has BT Operating System 2.1. Old phone with OS 1.2 connects to Auris (2010 model) and to new phone ok. So why does car not see new phone?

Found out the problem. If you make a mistake installing you just cannot start again. Switch off audio wait and on again. I did not do that. Tony at SLM Toyota Hastings installed at second attempt. So all is well. Does anyone find problems with auto power on when two or more phones linked and on in the car?

I don't know much about the bluetooth system James apart from pairing my own phone in my car and it seems like nobody else on here does either.

Have you tried posting on Toyota's Your Questions Answered forum? I believe questions there are referred to Toyota Technical dept so may be worth a try.
