I Got Dun On Ebay...

Those from the mr2 forum'l know the kit i bought of eBay recently. Well i paid for it on friday, money was taken outa my account on tues. fella said on fri that it'd be posted on monday by next day delivery, come tuesday it didnt arrive...

me being the impatient fella i am (specially when it cost me £500 squid tried callin him all day, no answer... same thing in wed, and 2day.

Checked eBay and lo & behold his account id had been suspended, so i got a little bit worried rather than p'd off at this point. but no worries. quick call to hsbc nice scottish lady sorted it all out. money being xfered straight back to me within the next 7-9 days, phew!

Basically this posts to big up HSBC i didnt know they could do stuff like that, its absolutely awsome :D

So now i'm stuck again for a bodykit. summers gonna be gone by the time i find it all, bah!

on the bright side i'll have more money by then... ;)

i thought i ha dgot done bout 3 onths ago i won a r33 gtr intercooler for a stupidly low price. had a boot of communication woth the lad who i won it off then he just stopped but 2 days ago got an email off him asking for my addy again to send the ic too. but after waiting 3 months i should really get my £10 back for bext day delivery

but i've informed eBay again as a precaustion even tho he's suspsended, tho im sure ive spied him with a new id, gotta check it out...

i've bought a few things of eBay b4 and had no problems, does suck but i'm well impressed by hsbc (i know im saying it again,lol), i made a good choice choosing 'em. well it was origionally back in high school cos for joining the bank u got a free football that was worth a tenner, so £1 in the bank was a nice deal ;)

Someone paid me £250 for something through paypal. I sent it out the next day. A day later I got an email from paypal saying that the funds had been reversed because they may have been from a fruadulent account !

Not heard anything from Paypal about it since.... but I lost out !

You shoud never send something out until you have the cash, isn't there some kind of compo you can get jim? you shouldn't be £250 out of pocket when the :censor: have got whatever you sold them.

Yeah I got caught last year (along with about 20 others). Did a buy it now for some diamond front corners for my MR2, payed using paypal of course they never turned up, contacted eBay, account had been suspended, contacted paypal didn't even get a reply. At least it only cost me £60.

Contact your bank, if the transaction went through to your visa card you should have some luck

just checked an e-mail from eBay.

They won't tell me the erason they suspended him, instead just ur usual template about what to do incase of fraud etc.

There's a bit about waiting three weeks then contacting the police on there!
