Window Tints

thinking of having my rear window and the two sides tinted. anyone know a cheap tinting place in yorkshire had two qoutes £75.00 and £90.00!

For the side windows on the IQ (as these are the equivalent of front side windows on other cars), the tints will have to allow 70% or more visible light transmission.

yep just the rear window and two that join the rear window. and dont know what to have the 20% or limo black.

I have limo back windows. Rear drivers are still easily seen and looks great

David (tarquin)'s white iQ looks really stylish with the limo tint rear window, and it keeps any cargo private.

I fancied doing things a little differently and opted for a more transparent 30% tint, because my car is black. I think it looks more factory-fitted. A friend has limo tints (standard on their car) and they find it too dark when reversing at night.

It's all down to preference, I guess. As your car is a lighter colour, I'd be thinking limo tint :)

I have limo black tints on the rear 3 windows. It makes the car more secure as you can't see anything that's in the boot. It cost just £80 from a place just outside Sheffield, they do a quality job. Let me know if this is close to where you live and I'll send you the details.

am in leeds. just looking at rear windows the two side ones look dark anyway so might just get rear window done.been quoted 75.00 for the three doing.

Considering how small those windows are, I think £75 is alright for all 3. I've always wanted to tint the back windows, but visibility isn't the IQ's strongpoint.
