Abs Vsc Trc Problem

Any knowledge much appreciated!

ABS, VSC, TRC light came on my 54 Avensis 2.0 vvti T Spirit estate. Fault code was C1246 - fault in master cylinder pressure switch. Unfortunately this switch is inside the ABS module, so it needs to be repaired / replaced.

I bought an identical ABS module from a dismantler. The numbers on the top of the alloy block and the underneath of the ECU match the original exactly. However, the warning lights are still on after it was fitted. New fault codes are C1203 and C1288. I saw the unit removed from the donor car and I would be surprised if it was not working.

Any ideas greatly appreciated!!!

(I should add that the EML has been on for a long time....... No problem with fuel consumption and runs smooth on premium fuel so I haven't fixed it.)

Is it the case that matching the ABS module numbers is enough, or Is there a procedure for matching a replacement module in to the car's other systems?
