Auris Supercharger!

Is there any way a supercharger can be fitted to an Auris 1.6 to get a similar effect to a Toyota Corolla T-Sport? I drove one last week and the Throttle response compared to the newer Auris is mental!

The short answer is most probably yes. But ............ you wouldn't be able to do it cheaply. As someone who chose to supercharge a Nissan in the past, I know what's involved & how much it can cost. You're looking at an extensive list of parts such as supercharger, intercooler, upgraded injectors, inlet pipes, cone filter, an ECU piggy-back, oil cooler, modified vacuum plumbing, etc. Not to mention upgraded brakes, suspension & clutch to cope with the performance hike. It's a long & slippery slope believe me, unless someone could swap in the old 'Rolla compressor engine ..... :)

Why on Earth would you want to blow what is gonna run to £4-5k on a 1.6 Toyota? If you wanted performance you bought the wrong car. If you want a fast Toyota go shopping in the 1990s and get a Supra/MR2

Might swap out the 'rolla engine, it only has 30k miles on it, as well as the newer Auris engine. That would be a fun, but difficult project.
