A Wacky Airfield Idea...

Watching V Graham Norton last night I had a mad idea that in theory could just work with a little effort...

Well maybe....

A number of clubs in the UK regularly attend Airfield day events as a means to learn what the car can do and to improve driving skills in a safe off-raod environment, the main problem of these days is cost, most companies charge a silly amount for the use of a track or an airfield.

Whats stopping all the clubs getting together and buying one as a joint venture. If we can get 3,000 cars together for something like JAe (and thats just JAP cars) what's stopping a large group of clubs joining in and sharing the cost between there members and buying an airfield.

Once bought having the track for a day would be possible for next to nothing, a small charge could be paid for the upkeep and to get some moeny back for the investing clubs...

Told you it was a wacky idea :lol::lol:

Sounds a good idea but how much would you have to put in. This would cost a hell of a lot of money to buy an air strip?

bugger driving on it.. lets build 1500 homes on the land and make a million x 50

then we can drive round the streets real fast!

It would be easier to buy that town that Graham Norton is going on about....

Building houses lol, we could build a Jap Car Village, Little Tokyo anyone :)

Be quite amusing looking at the cars parked on the streets....
