Was wondering how much a Carina 2 would have cost new back in the late 80's/ early 90's? Anyone know or remember?

Back in May 1993, I paid £8995 for a new Sunny 1.4L, and my sister paid £10500 for a pre-registered Nissan Primera 1.6LX. Would imagine the list price of the Carina II in about 1990 would have started somewhere around £11000

Hmmm the equivalent of about 17k in today's money according to an online converter. Not cheap then ;)

Probably a bit more. The Carina II was the equivalent of today's Avensis - which starts at £17,700.
