I own a Toyota yaris hybrid 2014 model. I bought it as new. I have small question to the owners. Do you have the reading light for the back passengers? Or am I missing it?

Hello - welcome to Toyota Owners Club

Are you in the UK? Specs can vary from country to country

Have you a pre-facelift Yaris or a post-facelift Yaris?

I have the MY2015 facelift Hybrid Excel and I just checked in the full manual - there is no interior light shown in the back of the car at all. The interior light, personal lights and footwell lights are all at the front of the car.

How sad. Even my dads old rover got it. The thing is it is very difficult to see things in the back especially in the winter nights. How toyota forgot this basic component? I make long journeys with family. So my little baby needs to feed in the car, a light in the back would have been better that's all.

Anyway I am not so impressed with the mileage as well within the town. Doesn't go beyond 55mpg.

It isn't just the Yaris that doesn't have an interior light over the back seats, cars like the Seat Ibiza Hatchback/ST don't either (aside from the top versions).

Also your Yaris will probably need at least 4000 miles under its belt before it produces near to its best fuel economy.
