2.0 D-4D Corolla Decat?

As title states, can you decat a 2.0 d4d? Or is the cat on the manifold.

From February 2014, the MOT requires that diesel vehicles are subject to a check for the presence of catalysts and particulate filters, and will fail if either are not present and where one was fitted as standard.

There are emulators that can fool the ecu into thinking there is a dpf present and stop the eml coming on.

I read some people risk cutting out the inside of the dpf and leaving the 'container' which might fool mot tester.

Ive decided against decat, no need. I work at a car garage so decat on passing mot isnt an issue. Just getting a full stainless catback with no boxes
