Gen 7 Auto Locking?

Today I had the center console apart and wired in some usb sockets and power for my dash cam. I found a box next to the hand brake that had "tvss" on it. It had a small rubber dial with +/- but no label as to what it is... so naturally I played with it and turned it.

Now after its all back together it started self locking. At a guess I'd assume it's something to do with self locking.

Just wanted to confirm before I pull it all apart again?

TVSS stands for 'Toyota Vehicle Security System', and will probably be either something to do with the alarm or the immobiliser

The +/- dial adjusts the sensitivity of the interior alarm sensor.
