Aygo Xpression Wing Mirrors

Recommended Posts

I have checked the handbook and can't find anything about the wing mirrors, I had hoped they were retractable by a switch or the locking key. Help !!

As far as I'm aware, the mirrors are electrically adjustable and heated - not power retractable. Think you will need to manually fold them.

Aygo does not feature electrically retractable mirrors ( they can be manually folded ) only electrically adjustable and heated mirrors

I have a mk1 aygo and I don't think I can manually push them in, they seem so stiff and considering I had problems with breaking wing mirrors in the past I don't want to force them so much I end up snapping the joint or something. I park on a public road at home so I just park as close to the pavement as I can. Fortunately the car is narrower than my previous one and the mirrors don't stick out so much so I think they're easier to miss touch wood.

I'm contemplating moving to an Aygo when the lease is up on my iQ is up in a couple of months. It may seem trivial, but the lack of power folding mirrors really disappoints me and stops making the Aygo an easy choice. I use the ones on the iQ every day due to where I park for work...... most weeks someone loses a mirror due to passing traffic.
