Fuel Door Release Spring

Hi all,

Just bought a 1.6 Auris TR and I am having problems with the fuel door release. When I pull the fuel door release leaver by the drivers seat, the fuel door doesn't pop open. I managed to pry the door open while someone else pulled the release leaver and can see that there is no spring to push the door open (the lock which keeps the door in place does work so the cable between the release leaver and the lock works). I can't seem to find any replacement springs for the fuel door, has anyone else had this problem or could point me in the right direction for getting a replacement spring?
