How To Set Up Follow E Home Lights

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, although I owned a Landcruiser for many happy years.

We've just taken ownership of a 2009 (59) Avensis T spirit DEISEL estate. However it didn't have any owners manuals apart from the service book. How do we get hold of them? The Toyota eu site only offers downloads from 2011 models onwards. eBay doesn't have any.

Can anyone tell me if there will be follow me home light setting? If so how do I do it?

This car seems to have every upgrade its frustrating not having manuals. Any idea how I find out which model the audio/nav unit is. It's touch screen.

Owners manuals can be purchased form your local Toyota dealer, if you have follow me home headlights after switching the car off, before opening the drivers door pull the headlight stalk as though you are flashing full beam at someone, if you have follow me home lights your headlamps will remain on for a short period of time.

Doubt that it will have follow me home lights - my MY12 doesn't . Think that it was the MY13 that gained them in some trims.
