Excessive Engine Oil Consumption

Hello,

I bought a 2006 1 Litre Yaris back in August, (two previous owners) and everything is in great condition including the engine overall though engine oil itself seems to be used up pretty quickly and i find myself having to refill every month and a half roughly if not less. I've checked for any oil leaks and there appears to be none except a minuscule amount of oil slightly around the engine oil cap and I'm using the right oil that's recommended for the engine. I use my car quite frequently and do roughly 360-400 miles every 1.5 - 2 weeks, I also drive as efficiently as possible and I don't rev the holy hell out of it.

Any help or suggestions for this problem ?

What sort of consumption are we talking about - 1 litre every 1000 miles, 1 litre every 600 miles?
