Buying/fitting A Drg Unit

Hi, I would like to fit a traffic avoidance unit to my 56 reg D4D Avensis T spirit, there are lots of these units for sale on eBay second hand for around £20 but non seem to come with the wiring. From what I understand when fitting the DRG i would need to fit an aerial which is not a problem and i would need to unplug the original wire from the sat nav DVD player located under the passenger seat and plug this into a short splitter cable which then plugs into the DVD and the DRG unit. Can anyone advise me if this extra wiring is pre installed in my car & tucked away under the seat or do I need to find a DRG unit for sale with wiring? If this is the case can anyone who has done this job point me in the direction of a s/h parts dealer who may sell me the unit with wiring?

Hi, thanks for your help, i had already seen the install guides & have a rough idea how to wire it in, i am stuck with knowing what wiring i need & how to get a used DRG with the necessary wiring as i don't fancy paying dealer price for a bit of cable & a couple of connectors.

I think its ridiculous that this isn't fitted as standard to the T Spirit as its supposed to be the top of the range Avensis & yet it is fitted to models lower down the range, typical Toyota!
