Hi all,

The first anniversary of owning my first Toyota a 3 door 1998 Rav4.

This year I have had a New Battery fitted, xenon Headlights, Two tone horns(The original was crap) the Cambelt/Water pump, Oil Filter, new Oil, Air filter and Plugs changed and I"ve just been outside and Wax polished the gleaming Red paint.

By the way, if anyone in the New Forest area wants a good reliable mechanic let me know. The bloke I used does all the work from his own house and only charged me £150 for the Labour including the Filters, Oil and Plugs. I supplied the Cambelt/Waterpump, and a brilliant job he made of it.

Saying that, I still need to change it sometime for a 3 door Automatic Rav, so if anyone out there has the right car and they want to do a swap, cash either way, let me know.

The 3 door automatic models are getting rare and the later ones very expensive, you do see your age of RAV4 come up for sale but with many miles on the clock, although I'm sure there are bargain if you look hard :)......... You too. have a good Christmas :)
